The Salt Lake Convention & Visitors Bureau (SLCVB) is a private, non-profit community organization promoting Salt Lake as a travel destination. The SLCVB and its members provide assistance to convention & meeting planners, tourism professionals, media, and visitors. Each year more than one million visitors utilize the SLCVB visitor information centers and this website to obtain information about Salt Lake and area businesses and services.
Over 850 area businesses and individuals have joined together to support and promote Salt Lake through membership with the SLCVB. An active, involved membership contributes to our success. A wide range of activities and services are provided to members in exhange for their support.
The SLCVB is consistently recognized in the industry for high standards of service and professionalism. The SLCVB has recieved several awards, including:

the prestigious Meetings & Conventions Gold Service Award, the ultimate symbol of excellence for Convention and Visitors Bureaus throughout the world, for the 12th time in 2006. At the same time, the SLCVB was inducted into the Meetings & Conventions Gold Awards Hall of Fame which "recognizes those destinations whose consistent high standards - as evidenced by receiving the coveted award 12 times - earn them the distinction of being among the finest convention & visitors bureaus in the world."
